Submission Deadlines International Students
Application deadlines for international students depend on the nationality of the applicants.
The deadlines do NOT depend on the country where the documents were issued.
Please be sure to take this into account when planning your application.

Processing your application may take several months. Therefore, please submit your complete documents as early as possible.
Incomplete applications will prolong the processing time and may result in your application being rejected. In this case, you can only reapply in the following semester.
In your own interest, please therefore only submit complete applications.

Please submit your application only within the deadline that applies to you!
Please ensure that you state your correct citizenship and the correct country of issue of your university entrance qualification when applying.
The university has to cancel applications submitted outside the correct submission period due to incorrect information, without exception, and to block individuals from reapplying for 2 semesters in accordance with § 1a (3) of the Rectorate Decree on Admission to Studies.
If you are unsure which deadlines apply to you, please contact the Admissions Office BEFORE submitting your application to avoid any misunderstandings.
Frequently asked Questions
regarding submission deadlines
You cannot apply for the VGUH. Therefore, there is no separate deadline for this.
You must apply for the programme you wish to study. The relevant deadlines are listed above. Only based on the application to a study programme can the university determine whether you are eligible to attend the VGUH.
As an EU citizen, the deadline for EU nationals applies to you.
As a none-EU citizen, the deadline for none-EU nationals applies to you.
